OPAL is an award-winning, mentor supported programme that is supporting us to improve the quality of our play opportunities. OPAL is the only programme of its kind that has been independently proven to sustainably improve the quality of play in British primary schools.

We have introduced OPAL at Hildenborough because we aspire for our school community to grow together.  We want our children to develop a love of learning, so we can be the best that we can be.  As a school, we cherish each person as unique and special through providing rich experiences, which enlighten, challenge, shape and enhance life’s opportunities for all. There is no better way to do this, than through play. 

We value each play type and are working to establish these within our school grounds.
