KS2 Term 5 experiences and fun
This term we have enjoyed finally seeing the sun and noticing the changes to the trees and birds. Our fruit trees are in blossom and we have a bird nesting in one of our boxes!
A variety of activities have included;- Nordic braiding, cooking many delicious recipes in the mud kitchen, making a hapa zome Union Jack to celebrate the coronation of Kings Charles 111. We also went worm hunting, minibeast searching and celebrated Hedgehog Awareness week. Some year 4 children used palm drills for the first time so we could hang our Christian Values wooden discs in Forest School.
New trees and plants have been planted too!
We also learnt about bees and played a game to appreciate just how hard bees have to work to make a little bit of honey! Some children made bee hotels and bee watering stations.
