Term 6
What a fantastic term! The children have learnt some new skills and demonstrated their creativity. Some learnt how to make a timber hitch knot and then to make a bow and arrow! Year 6 enjoyed a log-pulling team challenge using the knot they had learnt.
Each class in KS2 built a layer of our new bug hotel which is looking great and is ready for new residents. Everyone has loved climbing on the new rope ladders and have improved their climbing skills, taking calculated risks to try to climb a rung higher than they have before.
Children and staff collaborated on a new Forest School sign and lots of children showed off their creativity in painting with a natural paintbrush, which they made themselves.
We also all learnt allot about bees and found out how hard they work by playing a fun game.
We are looking forward to another exciting year, which lots of learning and experiences.
