Forest School - term 2
In term 2 we enjoyed making leaf art and experimenting with colours for bark rubbing. The children found bugs and remembered to be gentle and return the insects to where they found them.
Year 6 made salt dough and etched their Wolf Brother clan symbols into them. We also made dyes from berries to make flags for their clans. Our school had been awarded 60 saplings from the Woodland Trust which the children carefully planted and showed lots of perseverance in shovelling and barrowing top soil to help them grow tall and strong!
Other activities included making music and 'cooking' in our wonderful mud kitchen. We were also excited to have our new shed erected!
