On Tuesday 31st January Years 1 - 6 were joined by a boxing coach. This was to give all children the opportunity to try a new and exciting sport. It was a new experience for many, however all the children left the workshop with big smiles.

Elijah - "I liked the arena. We were all around the edge and took it in turns to go into the middle to try and get each others ribbon".

Nate - "We played a game where you had a cone in the middle of you and a partner and he shouted a move like guard, jab, uppercut".

Aaliyah - "I liked it when we ran around and the children with boxing gloves had to freeze us".

Staff were asked to nominate three names of children who tried exceptionally hard, showed superb sportsmanship and real determination. The names are as follows:

Year 1 - Aaliyah, Rome and Amelia 

Year 2 - Archie, Junior and Ella

Year 3 -Bella, Lydia and Charlie 

Year 4 - Ollie, Patrick and Tilly 

Year 5 - Oscar H, Nieve and Lara 

Year 6 - Charlotte, Chlowie and Harry

Therefore that means the overall house winner is Brook for this term!
