Several children from Years 3 – 6 attended a badminton festival at Hayesbrook School. The event was supported by Badminton England and the children were able to learn alongside many experienced coaches.  The children enjoyed having a go at a new sport.

Archie – ‘I enjoyed seeing the Hayesbrook coach as she is really nice. I enjoyed the circuits and balancing, bouncing and learning the techniques with the racket and shuttlecocks’.

Sofia – ‘We had to go round different stations. I liked doing the races and playing the real badminton game. I learnt how to hold the racket properly’.
