World Book Day 2023
Today we celebrated World Book Day 2023.
Today we celebrated World Book Day 2023.
We will be raising awareness and supporting Children's Mental Health Week 2023, w/c 6th February. On Friday 10th February, we would like all children to express themselves by wearing an item of clothing or an accessory that represents them! (In exchange for a minimum donation of £1).
Please visit our designated JustGiving Page to make a donation to Place2Be
To celebrate and encourage a lifelong love of reading at home and school, we are running a sponsored read between the 23rd and 30th January. Paper copies of the sponsorship form and reading log will be sent home with your child, alternatively, you can donate online via https://gofund.me/8d1931d8
Happy reading everyone!
On Thursday 19th January, 5 Y5's and 4 Y6's went to a school football tournament at Tonbridge Angels. The team did amazingly - we're so proud of them all!
On Monday 16th January, our school choir represented the school at The o2 Arena and sang amongst 9000 children at The Young Voices Choir 2023. It was a fantastic experience for them and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The children sang a range of songs both well known as well as medleys written specifically for the event. We were wowed by guests such as Anna Phoebe and her violin and the choir sang with Heather Small. We felt 'proud' to have recorded a song with her for charity.
Thank you to Mrs Ainger for being a fantastic music teacher and to all of our wonderful children who were a credit to the school. What a day!
Please see our admissions page for bookings for Reception September 2023.
