Hildenborough Church of England Primary School is a voluntary controlled primary school for boys and girls rising from five to eleven years of age. We are supported closely by the Rochester Diocese and we are part of the Tonbridge Village Schools Collaboration.
Our school has served the community in the area around Hildenborough since 1847. The school building is beautifully situated behind the church, with the library on one side and the recreation field, which we use for sports, on the other.
The school comprises seven well-furnished classrooms, a school office, an Additional Support room, a Community room, a music room, staff room, a Head Teacher’s office and a well-stocked library. All classrooms have an interactive whiteboard and three or four stand-alone computers. In addition, we have laptops and iPads which allow each pupil regular access to ICT across the curriculum.
Hildenborough Church of England Primary School prides itself in providing a happy and secure learning environment in which your child can achieve academic and personal success.
Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church and Diocese. We have good links with St. John’s Church and the vicar comes in regularly to lead worship. Each year we aim to take our Year 6 pupils to the schools festival at Rochester Cathedral.
